six feathers in our cap!

"BIDAir Services Director of Operations O.R Tambo, Rob Barrett, receives the Feather Award from Chris Hlekane, ACSA GM"

 The Feather Awards go to...

BIDAir Services, one of three licensed airline and passenger handling companies in South Africa, made history in our first year of operation on being awarded six prestigious Feather Awards by ACSA fro Best Service Provider at all six airports where we have presence: OR Tambo International Airport, Cape Town International Airport, Durban International Airport, Port Elizabeth, East London and George Airports.

These independently audited awards go a long way to cementing business partnerships that are vital to Airport Operations and form the backbone of services provided to customers.

BIDAir Services would like to extend our gratitude to ACSA, our more than 30 airline partners, passengers and mostly our 3 500 strong BIDAir team, that services 22 000 flights per month.

Thank you!

Supporting Our Local Communities ...

BIDAir Services management and staff spent many enjoyable hours with the children of Kids Haven (www.kidshaven.co.za) in Benoni on Saturday, 04 April. During this time various tasks were undertaken including cleaning of buildings, both inside and out, installation of shower doors, general tidy up of the grounds of the five houses within the complex, planting of shrubs and flowers as well as the preparation and planting of a vegetable garden within the premises. The children really made good use of the Jumping Castle!

Repairs were carried out to various sport facilities, including goal posts and basketball hoops.

These activities were followed by the presentation of school bags for the more than ninety children currently being looked after by Kids Haven as well as other sporting equipment. An impromptu "thank you" from the children included song and dance!

The day was finished off with a Braai which was enjoyed by all!
